For this assignment, you will visit a fashion retailer (e.g., department store, discount store, or chain store) of your choice to critique the effectiveness of its visual merchandising efforts based on the criteria provided. When visiting your chosen retailer, you must address all criteria (type of displays, display settings, graphics/signage, and props) as it relates to the retailer’s window displays as well as in-store displays, so make sure you pick a retailer that has enough visual merchandising that will allow you to address all the required criteria.

Guidelines for Submission: Short papers should use double spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, and one-inch margins. Sources should be cited according to a discipline-appropriate citation method. Page-length requirements: 1–2 pages.
